IGL hrasses consumers!
Hi!
I have PNG connection on ground floor and require second
connection for first floor.
The IGL website is totally deranged and all info on connection
application is ambiguous.
As suggested over telephone, I submitted request online
- service request no. 2015399381.
On telephone, I was informed feasibility report requires
21 days. 21 days required to assess feasibility of second connection in
same building - with that IGL virtually hanged Arvind Kejriwal upside down.
With feasibility report, I was required to submit proforma
application, with electricity bill THROUGH COURIER and pay Rs6000 online.
The online receipt displays request number - hence that does not require
mannual association.
I just received phone call from 011-43583596 :-
1. Connection requires TWO MONTHS
2. Caller shall come to me to collect online payment
receipt and electricity bill.
THAT IS ABSURD. After online payment, why should physical
receipt ever be demanded?

At the top of total scam at DJB - http://ukmall.net/undigested/water
- where all offices were supplied junk computers by CM's son and the website
charges official bribe for online payment, here is budding portal iglonline:-
1. The bill on front displays website as www.iglonline.net.in
which does not exist at all.
2. Account login requires USERNAME. The user keeps shuffling
between probable names. Why the hell they can't ask for Business Partner
Number which is to be entered as USERNAME?
3. Only semiliterate people would tag consumer as Business
Partner. The terms implies a dealer or a distributor.
4. The Forgot Password requires both hint question and
answer. That is IDIOTIC. The consumer should be given his/her hint question
for answer.
5. As alternative to hint question-answer, I entered
registered mobile number but failed to receive code.

Is there any other website IN
THE WORLD which asks for both Hint Qestion
and Answer for password recovery.
Asking consumer to put in Business Partner number and
Hint question - No consumer/meter number - is product of ULATEE KHOPADEE
found only in Delhi Government. I entered BP 4000078507 and mobile no.
9810571993 repeated with 9810571993. With both, the response was - Please
enter valid registered mobile number. The website has no information/link
for consumers not yet registered on website.
I dialled 24x7 customercare number 01145195959 listened
to tone for TOO LONG - call charges Rs4.20 - fortunately I did not wait
for hours.

(Nodal Officer) Anonymous Appellate Officer - All have same contact number
011-46074607. I connected that number a dozen times - call charged with
no ring.

I thought Business Partner no. belongs to IGL distributor
and wondered why I am asked BP no. and not consumer no. or meter no. No,
I found BP no. is consumer specific. The problem arose as I could not guess
my user name in screenshot above - I tried doctorkc and drkchaudhry. Today
I was told by customercare to input BP no. as username. Why the hell they
can't ask for BP no. in place of User name in above screenshot.
I paid the bill with credit card. I was taken back to
bill portal with no success or failure note. I was trying to pay again
when I received debit SMS from bank. Payment is not reflected on bill portal.
IGL is ready to receive payment second time.
I am running iglonline.net refreshed every 10 minutes.
It shows up for 15-20 minutes and gives runtime error 40-45 minutes.
Complaint receiving cell, nodal officer, appellate officer
have common number on telephone bill 46074607. When I connect the number,
call is chaged but no bell rings. I could contact the number around 11
AM. Call was attended by some person not concerned with any thing. He noted
down my number for call back by concerned person.
At 1 PM I called up again and was told to wait for the
call. I received a call at 5.15 PM from 01146074854 - Bahut saari call
aati hain. Ek ek kar ke call back karte hain.
Koyee unauthorised aadmi IGL ka representative banke
aa gayaa to aapka 24 hours number 41595959 bin baat kiye chaar rupay khaa
jaayega. Aap saat ghante baad milengi to customer kya karega? Maine aaki
site par payment ki. Mujhe site par, ya mobile par, ya email se koyee information
nahin milli. Kaise pataa chale payment ho gayee ya karni hai?
Apart from common phone number, CRC, nodal officer, appellate
officer have no other contact information
What should I do if my bill related issue is not listed
above? My credit card was charged at IGL portal but bill is still shown
as due.
