The dealer refused to offer a feasible exchange price on day of purchase itself. Another dealer agreed to exchange X207 with X263, charging Rs900, against price difference of Rs200. I realised it as my own mistake and did not mind a penalty of Rs700. Still, I tried X207 for a week. Finding it without video capture, I finally decided to get rid of it and went in for exchange. Before that I made sure that Micromax X263 had both video capture and PRELOADED OPERA:

I brought Micromax X263 back home fully relieved that I had finally got rid of time eating devil. But no, the exchanged mobile is as bad as as the original one. I again wasted MANY hours, toying with all browsers, java files, jdk files, jre files. I rang up Micromax Gurgaon office and was told to visit getjar.com - Just download both jar and jad files and you will be able to install opera. I visited getjar.com with my computer and found not much too relevant. I visited getjar.com through mobile WAP browser - Your mobile type could not be identified. Please choose amongst ANDROID, JAVA (32ME), SYMBIAN, PALM, WINDOWS.

Unable to choose, I rang up again. The two responses were contrasting - There were two versions of Micromax X263 mobile. One with preloaded opera; if you don't have that version, you cannot install opera too. Just visit wap.google.com and you will be able to access google websites. wap.google.com produced nothing in mobile. In my computer, wap.google.com is redirected to google.co.in

I again confess my mistake in initial purchase and condone the penalty of Rs700. I should have checked up the feature befor purchase.

1. I had been suggested four models by the company : X231, X263, X-288, X294.
2. I confirmed the feature - preloaded opera - from the internet.
3. Even after repeat ugly experience, the two customer service executive conveyed to me that I could install opera (1) and I could access google adsense (2).

Unable to take it lying down and sleep, I began typing down this feature at 01.20 AM and it is already 02.20 AM.

I am a senior citizen aged 68 years and have been cruelly deprived of sleep by Micromax.
